Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant, to support the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities include, but is not limited to, lead and perform Balance Sheet reconciliations, manage expense reports and reimbursements, entering financial transactions into our internal databases, reconciling overseas vendor accounts and initiate payments, assist with process improvements and new policies where applicable, inventory management/landed cost allocations.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and ultimately, the right candidate will help our Finance department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices/credit notes and identify discrepancies
Work closely with Supply Chain and Demand Planners
Monitor staff expense reports
Maintain Fixed Asset Register
Perform and initiate local and overseas supplier reconciliations and payments
Update accounts payable invoice booking and payment allocation on an ongoing basis
Track and reconcile bank statements (payments)
Follow up with suppliers and external partners, as needed
Provide administrative support during budget preparation
Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports, as needed
Assist with timely closure of monthly accounts to ensure month end/year-end deadlines are met, ensure all relevant accruals, goods in transit transactions are recorded on a timely basis
Lead; and perform monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Assist with daily/weekly cashflow forecast updates
STL preparation and submission to banks
Ensure inventory related charges (landed costs) are allocated accurately
Assist with the management of external audit requests/requirements
Lead process and policy improvements where necessary

Qualifications and Experience

Proven work experience as a Senior Financial Accountant role or similar, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
Familiarity with finance regulations/FTA – advantageous
Completed Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
